Claude Code setup
Applicable clients
Section titled “Applicable clients”Anthropic Claude Code (CLI or companion desktop entry). This page records the verified public Base URL form; it does not pin a specific client version.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Manual account setup completed per Account setup.
- An API key you created yourself after logging in with the ArianAPI console account and password you received.
- Addresses from Service entry points.
Configuration steps
Section titled “Configuration steps”- Do not use a first-party account session from
claude loginto reach this service. Use an API key you created yourself in the ArianAPI console. - Set the Anthropic-compatible entry. Recommended environment variables:

ANTHROPIC_BASE_URLtohttps://api.arianapi.cc/v1, and do not append/anthropic. - After starting Claude Code, copy a public Claude model name available that day from the ArianAPI model catalog. Do not use internal short aliases from chat.
- If the client also offers a custom Provider panel, fill Base URL and Key with the same values as above, and turn off first-party login.
Verify connectivity
Section titled “Verify connectivity”- Send a short text request, for example ask for a reply of only
OK. - On success you get a normal reply; common failure causes are a key not issued by ArianAPI, or a model name not on the catalog that day.
- When you need tool calling (edit files, run commands), send a task that clearly requires tools. If you only get plain text back, confirm the model name and the client’s tool permissions first, then contact support.
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”- Client exits automatically or asks you to log in to a first-party account again: check whether it still points at official Anthropic instead of
ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL. - Model does not exist: go back to the catalog and copy a public model name; read Model freshness.
- You pasted a key from the official Anthropic Console: this site will not treat it as a valid customer key.
